After years of service to our communities, many K9 heroes will need expensive veterinary procedures, physical therapy, and other costly care. The Georgia Police K9 Foundation takes that financial burden off of the K9s family and ensures that these K9 officers get the care they deserve. The Georgia Police K9 Foundation also provides equipment to agencies including kennel inserts, ballistic vests, and heat alarm systems, ensuring our K9 officers are protected while they are out working in our communities.

This incredible nonprofit helps put service dogs in the hands of deserving veterans and first responders at no cost to them.

K9 Heroes 4 Heroes supplies the necessary equipment, initial veterinary care and follow up training to maintain these teams.

Project K-9 Hero ensures the best quality of life for our nation’s retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs by providing assistance with medical costs, prescription food, rehabilitation, rehoming, and end-of-duty services. They also provide a safe haven at their 177-acre Rehabilitation & Rehoming Facility for retired K-9 Heroes to live when they no longer have a home or an owner that can meet their specialized needs.

Paws of Honor is a nonprofit that provides veterinary care and products at no charge for retired military and law enforcement K9s that have served our country. Retired K9s deserve accessible, high quality veterinary care in return for their commitment and sacrifice for our country.

The monetary burden associated with veterinary care should not fall on the shoulders of the officer, handler, or owner once the K9 has been decommissioned.
